It was so hard to even narrow it down to these 30 some images, but I managed to pull just a few of my favorites from the year.

Eliza + Paul Engaged

January 1st, 2010 — Add a comment »

It may have been 15 degrees out, and Eliza and Paul may live in California, but that didn’t stop us from having a great session.

Paul is an architect, so he understands shape and space even more than I do, so naturally Eliza and Paul choose to start their session at the ICA.  City hall was also in the running, and for those of you who live in Boston, you know it’s one of the ugliest buildings in the city.  However, to one who appreciates brutalist modern architecture, there is something to be said for the structure, and appreciating it for what it is.

Now for the photos…

Jaime + Josh

December 28th, 2009 — Add a comment »

Jaime and Josh were married on the whitest day of the year, thus far, but that didn’t change their plans.  Their intimate ceremony was held in the Fairmont Copley Plaza, and then we went up against the elements, for a little fun in the snow, in full wedding attire mind you.

Details:
Married: 12.20.09
Ceremony + Reception: Fairmont Copley Plaza
Dress + Shoes: J.Crew  (I’m a sucker for anything from J.Crew)

Rachel + Chris Engaged

November 25th, 2009 — Add a comment »

An engagement session made for true campers.  Rachel and Chris met when she was only 11 at Camp Bement.  At the time, Rachel was a camper, stuck on her first sailboat ride with her future husband, attempting to control the boat, but instead, B-lining it straight for the swimming area (full of kids.)  Well, they both survived the trip, and years later when they started dating, shared their many stories from camp, only to realize they were in the same boat years prior.  So nowhere was more appropriate to shoot their session than at the camp, which may unfortunately be shutting down in the very near future, so we may have been just in time. Could Sunday have been a more perfect day for a session? Um, no!  Heather, Steve and I went out to Crescent Farms in Haverhill, and got both a work out (note the hill) and a great shoot in!  Thanks for being awesome guys!

Baby Ryan All Grown Up… sort of

October 19th, 2009 — Add a comment »

I had my third session with Gwen and Ryan last Thursday, and it’s a really neat perspective to only see someone every few months of their life, when they’re little that is, they change so much!  The last time I saw Ryan he was 10 days old, now he’s 4 months.  He screamed about as much as I remember from our first session, maybe more, but we still had fun.  See you in another few months!
