Ryan is 1!

After a year of documentation, I wrapped up our year session with Ryan on Sunday. Here’s a look at his 1st year of life:

And finally, his birthday! The poor cupcake didn’t stand a chance, it was mostly on the floor, although some of it did make it to his hair.

Sophia turned 13 days old yesterday! And is lucky to have such a fun big brother, Mr. Andrew.

Tennyson is 1!

I photographed Tennyson a few months ago, and came back on Friday for round two, her 1st birthday! Tennyson may be a few years younger than me, but we both share the same enthusiasm for cake!

…is 8 months old! If you visit my blog once and awhile, you probably recognize him, as he pops up every few months. Sunday was my forth session with him, and we’ll be closing out his first year in just another few months. 8 months brought a few new developments to the session, sitting and crawling was cool to see, from someone who was completely immobile just a few months ago. I was also digging the hair!

Baby Ryan All Grown Up… sort of

I had my third session with Gwen and Ryan last Thursday, and it’s a really neat perspective to only see someone every few months of their life, when they’re little that is, they change so much! The last time I saw Ryan he was 10 days old, now he’s 4 months. He screamed about as much as I remember from our first session, maybe more, but we still had fun. See you in another few months!

Remember this little guy…

Well now he’s 12 days old, and I had the chance to meet him at 10. Doesn’t that just sound crazy, 10 days old! Ryan is equally as quiet, as he is a screamer, but that seems about right for your first few weeks of life. And the apparent dislike for the wagon was my fault, sorry Ryan! One day you’ll like wagons, that day just wasn’t Tuesday. So without further ado, here’s to life on the outside.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Gwen, reminding her just how lucky she is to have the baby basketball, and not the good bye to your body forever syndrome. Gwen just entered her 34th week, and doesn’t she look amazing?! If we could all be so lucky.

This was my first opportunity to photograph a woman’s belly, and not being a mother myself, it was all rather foreign to me. But now that I’ve got that under my belt, I’m offering something new, babies first year. Five sessions will take place, the first during pregnancy, and then newborn, three months, six months and one year, all brought together in an album. So if you’re prego too, and interested in documenting your child’s first year, contact me for details.

Meet Jacob

Jacob is the coolest baby I have ever met! He seriously just hangs out, giggles and claps. Had Colleen, or JF (his parents) ever turned their backs for long enough, I would have snatched him up for myself. Thanks again to everyone for sharing your morning with me. And letting me rearrange your house, I couldn’t have had more fun!

And a note to all my past wedding clients, I know you’re all out there having babies, and I’ve discovered I absolutely love photographing them, so…
