Ceremony: Commandants House

As of right now, Sarah and Jerry’s wedding was my last of the 2008 season, and it was a great way to go out.  I only spent a few hours with them, covering their ceremony and shooting portraits, but I really enjoyed the energy of their day.  Congratulations Sarah and Jerry, and thank you for letting me hang out with you for a few hours!

]]> http://blog.aodell.com/2008/sarah-jerry/feed/ The Girl Behind the Camera. http://blog.aodell.com/2008/the-girl-behind-the-camera/ http://blog.aodell.com/2008/the-girl-behind-the-camera/#comments Mon, 10 Nov 2008 20:53:18 +0000 ashley http://blog.aodell.com/?p=117 I don’t post much about myself on my blog, nor have I ever had photos of myself up, so this is my debut appearance.  Two friends and fellow photographers (Rachel Hadiashar of mergeweddings.com and Kelly Lorenz of klimagery.com) were kind enough to photograph me recently.  In October, Rachel took me out to Franklin Park, (which if you haven’t explored, I highly recommend.)  And I brought a few cameras with me as well, including an old film camera I got from my grandpa, that he picked up in Germany, while in WWII.  And in November, Kelly photographed Eric (my gentleman friend) and I, for the first time in over 6 years; it’s nice to have a few photos of us, without my arm in them!  Thank you ladies!  It was nice to be on the other side of the camera for a change.
